***JOY *** how much are you getting?

Think about it, are you experiencing enough JOY in your life? Often we are so caught up with completing tasks on our daily to do list that we are left feeling so depleted and there is not enough time and energy to do that thing your soul is craving.


Could it be that your measure of success is out of alignment, yes we feel proud of ticking off our to do's and there is a sense of achievement but are we paying the pricing for putting too much energy into work and not enough energy into your own health and wellbeing. Sometimes we can be unaware that this is going on until we start to feel the symptoms of this imbalance such as:


  • feeling anxious or irritable

  • poor sleep

  • deep fatigue

  • craving sugar, carb, caffeine, alcohol

  • feelings of panic

  • muscle aches and pains

  • foggy brain

  • digestive issues

  • and so on . . . .


So what can we do?


The first thing is to recognise this pattern and give yourself permission to stop and:-


  • rest and reflect

  • exercise

  • include daily meditation, prayer, gratitude

  • prepare healthy meals

  • be in nature

  • have that luxurious bath your body is craving

  • spend quality time connecting with your loved ones

  • pat your pet

  • be present, breathe

  • drink more water

Trusting that delegating some of the to do list, re-scheduling your calendar to make time to connect with yourself and begin to make the changes your mind, body and soul are craving will enable you to have better health, restful and restorative sleep and more joy in your life.


It is about balancing your life and redefining your measure of success in a balanced way, so start by creating the space to pay attention to what you need.


When our cup is full, we raise our vibration and all those around us benefit.
