2025 My Year

2025 was a challenging year. I fell from a ladder in April 2025, injuring my right shoulder resulting in joint and ligament damage. Suffering pain in my shoulder impacted my sleep which consequently affected my wellbeing. I'm a very physical person and love to workout regularly doing high intensity cardio and weight training however, my shoulder had a very limited range of movement and I had to stop my training.

I let go of my vigorous exercise routine and began my day by rising at 6am, choosing slow flow yoga, meditation or walking my dog. This change assisted me to feel calm, grounded, centered, focussed and energised. What my body really needed was rest, I was fatigued commencing my days with cardio and weight lifting which meant I started on adrenaline overload before I even began my day!

As a Kinesiopractor, metaphysical and intuitive healer, I understood that my right shoulder injury was the result of past emotional pain that was unresolved. My injury made me stop, to listen to the burdens that I held deep within, to acknowledge the emotional pain, to let go, to forgive and allow the emotions to surface and release. It has been a long process of healing and gaining mobility of my shoulder. A very wise mentor of mine once said "good always comes out of bad stuff", I couldn't see it at the time, but now I can see the many benefits of the changes I have made in my life that truely support me.

Now for the good stuff; I've been a Kinesiology practitioner for 26 years. I commenced my studies with the late Don Viney in the year 2000. I went back to study my Certificates again in 2014 because I wanted to deepen my understanding of all the unique techniques so that I could expand my knowledge and grow and learn many new tools to assist my clients on their healing journey. This took me 11 years and thousands of hours of dedication and commitment to class attendances, completing journals, case studies and exams, and the financial commitment. Why? Because of my love of this incredible modality that enables me to work with the mind, body and spirit connection and to identify deeper imbalances and find what the being needs to be in balance. I am so very honoured to assist beautiful clients that show up, vulnerable and willing to do the work to transition and transform their health and wellbeing.
